Positive: Lovely and calm. The deers was beautiful.

Exclennemm Positive: We arrived a little later and were given a warm welcome. We were shown round the property with everything explained clearly. The former farm house is quaint and atmospheric. During the stay we communicated with our host to replenish items and that was sorted out quickly. The views of the countryside outside were stunning. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and saw a variety of birds (heron, buzzard, kestrel, song birds). We loved the deer at the bottom of the field. This also has a goal post that we saw other families use. We didn’t make use of the restaurant next door but it was well used. I hear from my bephews that they serve lovely ice-cream! The accommodation was quiet and peaceful. Downstairs was a v good size sitting area with smart tv to link own on-demand memberships. Then a good size kitchen and dining table. Upstairs were two large bedrooms - either as double or single beds. One looked out on the courtyard and the other again on the beautiful countryside. In between is the bathroom. The shower is great - good pressure but be careful with the setting as it can be hot. The toilet is downstairs only. This place is a perfect location for local walks and to visit the numerous places of interest in the south of The. Netherlands and venture across the border to Germany and Belgium. There was ample parking. Negative: Nothing to dislike. We were initially worried about the very steep stairs but quickly got used to it. I suggest you enquire about that before booking. There may be better rooms for people with mobility issues at this property than the accommodation we had been allocated.

We hebben een fantastisch weekend gehad. Positive: Vriendelijk ontvangst bij aankomst. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en is onderdeel van een prachtige hoeve. Negative: De steile trap was een uitdaging 😉.
